I bought one for my Makarov and it fits the mags fine but if the mag is empty or partially empty, the protruding follower tab interferes with the kydex form. It’s understandable that the protruding tab has to face away from the leather so it won’t gouge it up but if a channel could be molded into the kydex for this tab it would allow for an empty mag.

J Johnon your modular mag holders, what do you mean by single or double stack for a glock 22 magazine, there is only one?

Yes we make a mag carrier for the M&P Shield 9, you would need to select the option for a 9/.40 Single Stack.
